Why are we doing this?
We have all been so moved to see images of the terrible suffering in Ukraine, and we know that many, many children have been affected and uprooted from their homes. Our thoughts and prayers are with them, but we want to do something practical to help those who have lost everything and have to start a new life in the UK.
We want to stand with the innocent children who have become refugees, and we are inviting our local community to stand with us by supporting us in our fundraising because we really want to make a difference.
Wonderful dancing from the 'Headliners' at the Studio S fundraising event for Ukraine.
You can find more pictures in our 'Performance Gallery'

DATES FOR OUR SUMMER 22
Why is performance so important to us?
Apart from the sheer enjoyment of dance, and all that goes with it, there are so many ways in which children and young people benefit from the experience of performance.
At Studio S, we believe that every child and young person should be offered the opportunity to participate in our public performances throughout the year, regardless of age or ability. We produce two major performances each year, some smaller ones at our own premises and we also take part in local community events. We keep our costumes very simple in order to avoid excessive costs which families may find prohibitive.
We are always delighted to hear feedback from parents who have been amazed at what their children have achieved on stage, and the consequent increase in confidence.
We feel privileged to see children and young people thriving and growing, not just in dancing skill, but in the confidence gained from performance with Studio S.
Studio S children and young people love performing.
We love to share our dances !
